Home and Garden Decorations You Can't Go Wrong With

There comes a time when every one of us wants to change the way our house looks, or is necessary when you first move into your new home. And there are always issues concerning what to get, where to get it, what budget you have and all sorts of other issues starting from color to material for your living room. Here are some tips for you on things you can't go wrong with when decorating your home.

One of the most basic stuff I learned over the years when decorating a place is that little things matter. Yes, you can put a great leather sofa that will stand out, but you have to put something in a matching color. Trust me, it's very important when you decorate your home and garden not to put too many different colors. And when you decorate your living room there are many item's to have in mind, as you don't want to make a pizza out of your living room. So the first item I will recommend and trust me, you can't go wrong with this, pillows. You can have as many pillows as you like, for your sofa, for your floor or anywhere you might find them useful. The next thing you do is match them with your curtains. Having the same color of the curtains and pillows will give depth to your living room. Now take it from there and be creative. Find a few things that go together and match them, but don't overdo it. Like I said you don't want your living room looking like a pizza.

Next thing you will do when decorating home and garden as it is useful for both is deciding on the colors. Colors are very important, as you already know if you ever devoted yourself to Feng Shui. Here are a few colors and their influence so you would know what color to put in the right place. The most common colors for the bedroom are soft green and light yellow. Soft green is used for relaxing, and light yellow will fill up your energy so that makes them both perfect for your bedroom. Now for the kitchen you should put a nice spicy red color because it stimulates your appetite, but you don't want to put too much because it's a strong fire color that may cause aggression. For the living room any warm color is welcome. You can spice up your life with simple colors and here are some good combination's:

• Yellow and green
• Yellow and red
• Light orange and green
• Blue, green and white
• Purple and Gray
• Any wood color combination

What you should keep in mind when mixing colors of your walls or items is that softer colors should be put in larger quantities and then spice them up with some live and warm colors.
